How do I wind my watch?

To wind your Quadrature watch, begin by taking it off your wrist.
If your watch has a screw-down crown, you’ll need to unscrew it first. Depending on the movement, fully winding the watch requires turning the crown between 20 and 40 times.

For automatic Quadrature watches, you may still be able to turn the crown even after the watch is fully wound, but it's best to avoid over-winding. The winding rotor in your automatic watch will keep it wound as long as you're wearing it.

Once fully wound, your Quadrature watch is ready to go. If you don’t need to adjust the time, you can simply put the watch back on your wrist and enjoy!

Are Quadrature watches water resistant?

Quadrature watches come with various levels of water resistance, which can be found on the product page of our website, in the manual, or on the case back of the watch. Below are the different levels of water resistance for our watches and the activities they are suitable for:

- **50m**: Suitable for splashes and light swimming on the surface. Not suitable for jumping or diving.
- **100m**: Suitable for swimming and snorkelling. Not suitable for jumping or diving.
- **200m/500m**: Suitable for swimming, snorkelling, jumping, and diving.

For all Quadrature watches, ensure the crown is fully pushed in or screwed down before exposing the watch to water. We also strongly advise against showering with your watch, as the heat and chemicals in soaps can damage the gaskets that maintain water resistance. After using your watch in salt water, rinse it in cold fresh water to prevent salt from corroding the metal. Lastly, avoid operating a chronograph underwater, as this can allow water to enter the watch.

What caused my watch to run to fast?

If your watch is running unusually fast, it may have become magnetized.
If your watch has an automatic movement, it's especially important to keep it away from magnetic fields. Automatic watches are more susceptible to magnetization, which can disrupt the delicate mechanics inside and cause the watch to run inaccurately. Common sources of strong magnetic fields include electronic devices like smartphones, laptops, tablets, and household appliances such as microwaves and speakers. To ensure the long-term accuracy and proper functioning of your automatic watch, avoid prolonged exposure to these environments and store it in a safe place away from such devices.

That's why we offer a 24-month / 2-year movement guarantee on all Quadrature watch movements - if anything does go wrong then we’ll be happy to repair or replace it.

Plus, if you aren't 100% satisfied within 30 days of purchasing one of our watches, you can send them back to us for a full no quibble refund or exchange. All items must be returned in their original condition - unworn and undamaged.

Shipping & Returns

ORDER PROCESSING TIME

All orders placed on our website are processed & shipped within 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). If you have placed the order during the weekends or holidays, your order will be processed within the next business day.

Once processed, you will receive another notification when your order has shipped that will include the tracking number for you to be able to track your shipment.

All orders are shipped from our international warehouse located in The Netherlands.

WORLDWIDE DELIVERY

We offer worldwide shipping for orders placed on our website.

Upon checkout, you have the option to choose which mode of shipment you would like to use.

For European Union (EU) countries, shipments take between 7-10 business days to be received (not including weekends and public holidays).

For all other countries, shipments take between 10-15 business days to be received (not including weekends and public holidays).

*Delivery time may vary in cases of situations beyond the control of the courier (e.g Extended customs clearance, severe weather conditions, government lockdown, movement restriction policies, strikes, riots, etc).

SPLIT SHIPMENT

Due to logistics and other operational needs, we reserve the right to split the order without prior notification.

VAT / IMPORT TAX

For shipments in The Netherlands 21% BTW is included in the retailprice.

FOR SHIPMENTS TO THE REST OF THE WORLD

Be advised that the price on our website are non-inclusive of local tax, VAT, import fees or other shipment clearance costs which may apply depending on where you are. Any charges applied upon import are the customer's responsibility and must be paid by the customer.

REFUSED / RETURN TO SENDER SHIPMENTS

Refused & return to sender packages that are not received due to negligence on the part of the recipient due to the following reasons;

  • Incorrect & invalid shipping information (e.g wrong delivery address, wrong contact number)
  • Refusal to pay import duties when requested by customs 
  • Refusal to provide local customs assistance in providing information 
  • Refusal to collect shipment at designated collection points (for addresses where couriers cannot redeliver to)

These are refunded only once when the shipment is received back in our warehouse, less the cost of shipping to and from the destination country, as well as any applicable duties and taxes.

*We do not ship to APO/FPO and PO BOX addresses and a valid physical address is required in order to process your order.
